Armorel transitions to virtual learning

Wednesday, October 7, 2020 ~ Updated 2:17 PM

From the desk of Tiffany Morgan, superintendent of Armorel School District:

"Important Tiger Update: Unfortunately, we have multiple positive Covid-19 cases and several more with symptoms who either are or have tested and are waiting on results. These numbers affect both high school and elementary students and staff members. We are not at liberty to disclose names of the positive or close contacts. If your child has had direct exposure, you should have been or will be contacted. At this time, it is necessary, that we pivot to at home virtual classes for all our students. This will begin tomorrow, Thursday, Oct. 8 and will continue through next week. The return date for face to face instruction will be Oct. 19. Please know this decision was made with consultation from the Arkansas Department of Education.

Again, I would like to thank you for your ongoing support and your continued grace and understanding through these difficult times. Let’s continue to work together to control the spread of the virus while providing a quality education for our children."
