Mozetta Allen, 64, of Blytheville, Ark., died Monday, Aug. 12, 2024, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Born Nov. 20, 1959, in Osceola, Ark., she was of the Baptist faith. She worked as a preschool teacher and dedicated her time to several of her beloved students.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Georgia McRay; three brothers, Joe Eddie McRay, Jr., William Carl McRay, and Anthony McRay; and one sister, Linda Kay McRay.

She is survived by her husband, Archie Allen, of Blytheville; two daughters, Tiffany McRay and Markeeta McRay, both of Blytheville; three brothers, Theoplis McRay and and Jeffrey McRay (Brenda), all of Blytheville, and Larry McRay (Vanessa), of Killeen, Texas; three sisters, Francis Newton, of St. Louis, Mo., Edna Holten (Alfred), of Blytheville, and Irene Burks (Dwight); three grandchildren, Keyshun Peoples, Ke’Shunna McRay, and Ma’Jorr Wayne, all of Blytheville; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 9-10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville.

Funeral services will follow at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Burton Furlow officiating. Burial will be held in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blytheville.

Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville is in charge of arrangements.
