COVID-19 vaccine clinic to be held at City Hall

A COVID-19 vaccine clinic will be held Wednesday, March 24 at Osceola City Hall, 303 West Hale Avenue.

The vaccine clinic will be held from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

Those eligible to receive vaccination at this event include:

•Individuals over the age of 65

•Arkansans aged 16-64 with health conditions that increase their risk for severe COVID-19

•Those with intellectual or developmental disabilities

•Educators, including K-12, higher education and child care workers

•Police, fire and other first responders

•Corrections employees

•Food and agricultural workers

•Essential government workers

•Grocery store/meal delivery employees

•Postal/package delivery service employees

•Public transit employees

•Houses of worship leaders

•Manufacturing employees

•Energy

•Finance

•Food service

•Information technology and communications

•Legal

•Media

•Public health/human services

•Public safety

•Shelter and housing

•Transportation and logistics

•People residing in high-risk settings: includes those who are incarcerated or detained; those living in group homes, congregate settings, or crowded housing; and student housing such as dorms and Greek housing.

The clinic is being offered by New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine at Arkansas State University, Delta Population Health Institute, Arkansas Department of Health, Arkansas Minority Health Commission, St. Bernards Healthcare, Delta Care-A-Van and El Centro Hispano.
