Ruth Wright celebrates birthday
Friends and family of Ruth Wright, of Dyess, celebrated her 80th birthday Saturday with a party at the University of Arkansas experiment station in Keiser. Wright, was born in 1940, was one of four daughters of Cecil and Flossie King, of Tyronza. They were Inez (who died in 1995), Wright, Bonnie, and Sissy. Wright attended school at Turrell and Earle. Wright married James Wright in 1964. The couple, resided in Dyess and had three daughters, Henrietta Chipman, Tammy Driver, and Melinda Akins. The Wright’s were married 52 years until James’ death in 2016.
